AS I pen these notes, Chelsea are top of the Premier League, but Liverpool, Man City, Man United, Everton and Brighton are all within two points of them.

Fingers crossed, it will stay as competitive as that for a while to come...

Contributor Thomas Blow says Liverpool have gone slightly under the radar in comparison to their rivals, but shouldn’t be written off.

Man United will also want to put pressure on Chelsea and neighbours City. However, writer Barnaby Rostant reckons they need West Ham’s Declan Rice to complete their jigsaw.
