WELCOME TO LATE TACKLE

WE’RE almost at the end of another year and, sadly, we’ve lost some footballing greats over the last 12 months.

In this edition, Robert J Wilson writes about the incredible life and times of Sir Bobby Charlton, while Sam Sheppey looks at the career of the one and only Terry Venables.

They are just two of the articles in this new edition and we’re confident there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Barnaby Rostant takes a close look at how Jude Bellingham is taking La Liga by storm, while we also have articles on the likes of David Beckham, Crystal Palace, Mark O’brien and, fittingly for this time of year, FC Santa Claus.

We read everything that comes in and use the best stuff each issue. Please do remember that as the magazine is printed only every six weeks or so, we can’t use time-sensitive pieces.

That aside, the main rule is there are no rules: as long as your piece is about football (pretty crucial, that) and on the right side of legal, we’ll consider it for publication.

We just want stuff that is interesting, funny, poignant, insightful, or maybe even all four.

Finally, thanks to you, our loyal readers, for your support througout the year. We hope you enjoy the festive period and plenty helpings of football along the way.
