SWYTHAMLEY: A social dance is to be held at the Swythamley and Heaton Centre.

It will take place on Saturday, September 29 at 8pm with Cliff Rowland.

Entrance is £5.50 at the door, which includes a buffet. A licensed bar is also available.

Everyone is invited to attend.

WARSLOW: A Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist is to appear in Warslow.

Martin Lambert, a singer who also does comedy, will perform at Warslow Village Hall, this Friday, September 21 at 8.45pm.

IPSTONES: Leek Salvation Army Band and choir is to perform at a concert in Ipstones.

The event is being organised by the Friends of St Leonard’s Church.

It will take place at the church on Friday, September 28 at 7.30pm.

LEEK: Leek Photograph­ic Club are pleased to welcome Peter Clark with his presentati­on of images entitled ‘Yellowston­e, SW USA and Iceland’ at their next meeting.

The event will take place tomorrow at 7.30pm in the Dove Room, Moorlands House, Stockwell Street, Leek.

Admission is £3 for visitors, which includes refreshmen­ts. Everyone is welcome.

IPSTONES: A table-top sale is to be held in Ipstones this Saturday, September 22.

Twenty-five spaces have been made available for people to sell their goods at the event which is to be held in St Leonard’s Church.

The event is being organised by village resident Geoff Wakefield as a fundraiser for the church.

Stalls, priced at £10, can set up from 8.30am and the sale will be open between 10am and 5pm.

Light refreshmen­ts are available during the day.

The event will take place on Friday, September 28 between 10am and 1pm in the village hall.

There will be refreshmen­ts, a cake and produce stall, Christmas cards for sale, a raffle and some competitio­ns and a chance to chat. Organisers would be grateful for donations.
