And focus after what she has been through’

but continued to show strength and support.

“After 10 days Jordan sadly suffered more heart attacks and we lost him on October 7, 2015. Life for us all was never going to ever be the same again, especially for Jasmine, she had lost her brother who she was extremely close to.

“She had to make the hardest decision of her life to return to a new town and carry on with university while grieving for her brother and wanting to be at home with her family.

“She decided to go back and despite tears over the phone and not seeing us for months on end she stayed, completed her course and graduated in June this year.

“As a mother I’m so proud of her strength and ability to focus after what she has been through and to settle into a new life in a new city.

“Not only that, this year she has gone on to do her masters. I know she works so hard to make her brother so proud and to fulfil her life.

“Jordan’s life was robbed at such a young age she has promised herself to achieve her goals in Jordan’s memory. Since losing Jordan I work with a charity called Cardiac Risk in the Young and with the help of my family I have managed to raise £80,000.

“This would not have been possible without Jasmine’s support. She has attended many events and has been my rock, a shoulder to cry on, someone to wipe the tears. She really has grown up and become a beautiful young lady who constantly goes out to help others.

“I wanted to nominate her to show her how proud I am of her and what she has achieved, the tower of strength she is, the courage to carry on her life when everything is against her and to stand and talk about her brother and raise money for charity.”
