Andrew’s appointment follows the decision by Kevin Wilson to stand down after 14 years as chief executive. Kevin will remain in post until December, working to ensure a seamless handover to Andrew.

“He shares our commitment to mutual values and excellent customer service, and his leadership, financial and commercial expertise will help to ensure that he builds on the Society’s continuing success.

“The board was unanimous in its choice of Andrew to take Leek United forward; we very much look forward to working with him, and wish him every success.”

Born in Dublin, Ireland, Andrew holds a first class Master’s degree in Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Services.
