Dr Catherine set to educate and inform on hidden treasures
THE next History Live at Hollinsclough will hear a talk on undiscovered treasures – barns, buildings and small heritage discoveries of the South West Peak – with Dr Catherine Parker Heath.
Volunteers working on recent landscape and building surveys have discovered many treasures previously unrecorded some have been incorrectly interpreted and some have never been recognised before.
The History Live talk will hear about some of the heritage features being revealed through these surveys.
Catherine Parker Heath is the South West Peak’s cultural heritage officer and is responsible for managing the barns and buildings and small heritage adoption projects.

She has also worked as project manager with the community archaeology project, Peeling Back the Layers, based at Under Whitle Farm, near Sheen.
The meeting will take place in Hollinsclough Chapel Hall on Wednesday, November 7 at 7.30pm.
