The­atre groups join forces for new pro­duc­tion

TWO ac­claimed pro­fes­sional com­pa­nies - New Per­spec­tives and Pentabus The­atre - are join­ing forces to bring a drama to life in the Staffordshire Moor­lands as part of the First World War Cen­te­nary Pro­gramme.

‘Cross­ings’ is a spe­cially com­mis­sioned new show from award win­ning play­wright Deirdre Ki­na­han.

The show tells two in­ter­con­nected tales set 100 years apart, but both tak­ing place in the same vil­lage hall.

With live mu­sic, waltz­ing and un­ex­pected con­nec­tions, two ac­tors will dance through a cen­tury ex­plor­ing how we re­turn, re­set­tle and adapt.

The event is part of Live and Lo­cal at Swytham­ley Cen­tre, near Leek on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 15, at 7.45pm.

Ad­mis­sion costs £10 for adults and £8 for un­der 14s. A li­censed bar will be avail­able.
