Old Boys stay in touch with home victory
LEEK CSOB remain in touch with Premier Division leaders Silverdale Athletic following a 2-1 home win over Hanley Town.
The Old Boys are level on points with Athletic and have a game in hand.
Tom Coates (39) and Jamie Pointon (65) put the Pointon Park side 2-0 up, but Hanley made it a nervy last 15 for Leek when Jordan Hall scored for Hanley.
Silverdale continue to lead the way at the top after beating one of the early favourites for the title, Tunstall Town.
Mark Mountford and Tom Kimberley gave United a 2-0 lead, but Kieran Ball pulled one back before half-time.

Redgate Clayton moved up to fourth place with a 5-1 home win over Walsall Phoenix. Jack Finney helped himself to a hat-trick and there were strikes from Shaun Whieldon and Dan Colclough.
Eastwood Hanley chalked up a welcome 2-1 win at Cheadle Town, a penalty from Mark Shallcross and a goal from Elisio Francisco securing the points for Eastwood.
Last season’s champions Wolstanton United were 11-0 winners at bottom club Florence.
Shane Williamson led the way for United with four of the goals, Dave Ashley netted a hat-trick with the other goals coming from Corey Nelson (2), Ashley Lees and Jon Hughes.

Staffordshire Moorlands pulled off the result of the day in Division One by holding leaders Audley to a 2-2 draw.
The Moorlanders have struggled a little this season, but belied their lowly position in the table to secure a point thanks to goals from Jake Binns and Alex Cimino, while Jake Smith and Jack Barlow were on target for Audley who remain three points ahead of Leek CSOB Reserves, who were 4-0 winners at Keele University.
Alberto Tari and Tom Swann gave the Old Boys a 2-0 halftime lead and Mitch Brown and Kiefer Hill netted in the second half.
Milton United put 12 goals past bottom club Red Star Alma, who replied twice and Foley Meir beat Norton Wanderers 3-0 with two goals from Liam Tomlin and a single from Richard Hewitt. Redgate Clayton Reserves made it a good weekend for the club by beating Whittington 3-0. Condliffe, Bowyer and Bickerton were their scorers.
AFC Alsager increased their lead at the top of Division Two to nine points following an 8-2 win at Newport Town, with Sam Revell netting four times, Jacob Hilditch twice while James Morris and Jordan Rugby netted singles.

Foley Meir Reserves, red and black, are enjoying a good season in Division One and picked up another three points with victory at Norton Wanderers at the weekend.
