Thanks so much for your help with my Beacon light project

Leek Post & Times - - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR -

I WAS very proud to be able to build and donate the Beacon for the 100 years ‘Battle’s Over’ Celebrations held in Kingsley on November 11, 2018.

I would like to say a big thank you to Kingsley Parish Council, the Kingsley Branch of the Royal British Legion and the Kingsley Remembers Project.

But, mainly to those who helped him with the project, David Clowes, for the use of the field where we erected the beacon; Roy Howell, for part of the Beacon; Wards Fencing, for the timber cladding; Dale Crete, for the concrete ballast; a close friend, for the laser work and my family who helped with the Poppies, lights, carrying and digging that was involved.

I was would also like to thank those who turned out to support the event. Dan Lucas Kingsley
