Do you have toys to donate?
A LEEK woman is appealing for toys to help children from families suffering from domestic abuse.
Julia Greenwood is helping to promote Arch North Staffs Christmas toy appeal.
Arch works in North Staffordshire and surrounding areas supporting adults, children, young people, families and professionals on a mission to prevent and tackle domestic abuse, help end homelessness and promote social inclusion.
Julia said: “As a previous customer this is something that’s close to my heart.
“Unfortunately many children and their parent will spend Christmas in a refuge, and it will be very lonely.
“Most victims leave with their children literally with just the clothes they are wearing. I would like to help make Christmas a happy time for them where possible.”
Arrangements have been made for people to drop off toys at Laser Radio in Bank House, Leek, Monday to Friday, 9am-2pm.
