Village to host a new year market

A NEW Year indoor market is to take place in Alstonefield.

The event will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 in the village hall between 10am and 3pm.

There will be many stalls selling all kinds of goods, including vintage clothes, jewellery, antique objects d’art, hand-made cards, crafts and flowers, cakes, books, bric-a-brac, tombola and much more.

Live festive music will be performed by Cantigua, a violin and accordion duo.

Refreshments will be served from the kitchen.

Entrance is £1 with children free. The event is in aid of Alstonefield Village Hall refurbishment fund.
