Pharmacy could become nursery

A FORMER village pharmacy is set to be converted into a private day nursery.

A planning application has been submitted to Staffordshire Moorlands District Council for the change of use from retail and residential use to a private day nursery with the installation of an Arley Pavilion at 165, Cheadle Road, Cheddleton, for Laura Hanson of Little Stars Childcare.

An application form said: “We would like to change the top floor flat from a residential property to a commercial property to match the downstairs classification of commercial in order to make the whole property into a private day nursery.”
