Speed limit is set to be extended

THE present 30mph speed limit is to be extended along Ashbourne Road in Leek

The extension comes into force as drivers enter the built-up part of the town from Bradnop, towards Lowe Hill Bridge.

The change is scheduled as a housing development has been approved for land adjacent to Poplar Service Station.
