Running Club ladies end season on high note in cold and rain!

THE final fixture in the

2018 North Staffs Cross Country league was held at Rodbaston campus, with the runners having to endure heavy rain and bitingly cold conditions on the day. Undeterred by this, members of Cheadle Running Club completed a successful year for both the men’s and ladies teams. Cheadle Ladies team were fourth in Division one on the day and fourth in the series overall.

Julie Hulbert claimed the prize for third LV40.

Cheadle Men’s team were third in Division Two on the day and fourth in Division Two overall.

Gareth Knapper was the fifth MV40 overall, with Stuart Day sixth MV45 and Ken Shenton sixth MV60.

Cheadle Running Club ladies enjoyed success at the final cross country meeting of the season which was held in Stafford.
