Trouble at Big Mill

POLICE officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an assault in Ipstones.

Officers from Moorlands Neighbourhood Policing Team are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Ipstones at around 11.40pm on Saturday, December 29.

A 59-year-old man sustained facial injuries after he was assaulted in the toilets of Ipstones Memorial Hall on Church Lane.

The offender is described as a white man in his twenties, approximately 5ft 7in tall, of stocky build, and with short light-coloured hair. He was wearing a shirt and trousers.
