Caravan, motocross bike and van are all stolen

A STOLEN caravan along with more reports of criminal damage caused to cars are among crimes being investigat­ed across the Staffordsh­ire Moorlands by police.

Now officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward in an effort to help them solve the crimes.

Between 11.15pm on Thursday, January 10th and 8.10am hours on Friday, January 11, a Bailey Caravan was stolen from a property on Leek Road, Waterhouse­s.

A partial registrati­on of the stolen caravan is ML17.

If anybody has informatio­n in relation to this please make contact police via 101, quoting incident 112 of January 11.

A police spokesman urged people to take suitable steps to secure caravans and remain vigilant.

■ A MOTOR vehicle has been stolen from the Roaches in Upper Hulme.

Between 6.30am and 10.30am on Sunday, January 6, an unoccupied black and grey Ford Transit van – part registrati­on YYF – was stolen from a parking bay in the Roaches, Upper Hulme.

Should anyone have any informatio­n in relation to this incident, they are asked to make contact via 101 quoting 173 of January 6.

■ OVERNIGHT between Sunday and Monday, January 6 and 7, a resident disturbed a person within the grounds of their property in Winkhill. Nothing was stolen.

A police spokesman said: “Please remain vigilant and ensure that valuables are locked away.”

■ A KAWASAKI motorcross bike has been stolen from Swythamley.

Between approximat­ely 12.30pm and 1.30pm hours on Friday, January 11, the bike was stolen from a property in the Swythamley area.

The motorcross is described as being green with a number five sticker on the front.

Should anyone have any informatio­n in relation to the theft, they are asked to make contact via 101, quoting 315 of January 11.

■ A BURGLARY was reported overnight on Saturday, January 12 at a property in Garston, Whiston. Nothing was stolen. However, damage was caused.

A police spokesman said: “Please ensure all valuables are out of sight and report all suspicious activity. If you have any informatio­n about this incident please call 101 quoting incident number 232 of 12/01/2019.”

■ IN THE early hours of Monday, January 7 a vehicle parked on a driveway in Brampton Close in Endon had its rear window smashed.

If anyone has any informatio­n regarding this they should ring Staffordsh­ire Police on 101 quoting 0089 of January 7.

■ CRIMINAL damage has been caused to a motor vehicle in Baddeley Street, Cheadle.

The incident took place on Saturday, January 5 between 2pm and 2.45pm. If anyone has any informatio­n, please ring 101 quoting serial number 456 of January 5.

■ THERE has been reports of vehicle damage on Angle Street in Leek. Anyone with any informatio­n should contact 101, quoting serial 369 of January 12.

■ ON SATURDAY, January 5 between the hours of 2pm and 3pm, on Wharf Road car park, Biddulph, a vehicle was damaged by unknown means. The owner of the vehicle returned to find damage to the front wheel arch and passenger side door.
