Vehicles broken into and robbed across four town streets
SEVERAL vehicles which were parked along different streets in Cheadle were broken into and items stolen from them last week.
Now police officers are urging anyone with information to contact them.
The incidents took place in Bank Street, Carlos Close, Shelley Drive and Froghall Road sometime overnight between Thursday and Friday, October 1 and 2.
Anyone with any information regarding these incident should contact Staffordshire Police on 101.
▶ Police officers have arrested a male and seized a number of cannabis plants and cultivation equipment from an address in Kingsley.
The incident took place on Tuesday, September 29.
▶ A Texel ram has been stolen from a field off Blakelow Road, along Morridge Top, somt time between Wednesday, September 16 and Thursday, September 17.
Anyone with information in relation to the theft should make contact via 101, Facebook or Twitter, quoting incident 348 of September 28.
A police spokesman said: “We are urging rural communities to remain alert and report any suspicious behaviour to us.”
▶ On the evening of Saturday, September 26, there was report of two suspicious males on a property in the Bagnall area.
The males were disturbed by the occupants and left in a vehicle. There is no description of the males as it was very dark.
The occupant described the vehicle as having red strip lights under the car, but there is no make or model.
A police spokesman said “Please be vigilant and make sure your property and outbuildings are secured.”
▶ There have been several incidents of vandalism at Newpool Meadows village green in Biddulph, where bird boxes and feeders have been pulled down and information signs damaged.
