Ansell proves to be a sharp shooter for Roaring Meg but

ETHAN Ansell scored a hat-trick to power Roaring Meg United to a

6-2 win at Caverswall Town in the Potteries and District Sunday League Premier Division.

Leigh Skellern helped himself to a double, while Tom Maddan was also on target for the visitors.

Adam Redford replied with a brace of his own for Caverswall, but they ended up being well beaten.

Adderley Green went one better in the scoring stakes as they put seven past Hazelhurst on their road trip. Brad Wilson fronted their bid with a hat-trick, while Charlie Batho, Mike Moore, Asa Tomlinson and Cameron Waltho followed his lead.

Harry Clarke grabbed a consolatio­n for Hazelhurst.

The Windmill made it a trio of away wins in the division as they ran out 4-1 victors at Black Cock.

Jack Gleave scored for the home side, but Nathan Calvert (2), Ali Telwright and Dean Mullock ensured it was a comfortabl­e morning for Windmill.

Jack Grzesiak, Dale Boot and Danny Atherton hit the target for Uttoxeter Dominoes.

Bird in Hand beat Hixon 2-0. Adam Brough and Liam Berrisford scored. Sudbury defeated Tuns FC 2014 3-1, while Alton FC and Stone Outlanes played out a 0-0 draw.
