THE former Derbyshire Academy batsmen feels at home at Endon. The left-hander started out at the club and after a spell at Leek, returned to Post Lane in the 2019 season.

That’s effectivel­y only a season and half due to last summer’s restrictio­ns, but Sellers has made the most of his comeback.

The ex-staffordsh­ire junior player has racked up six centuries and scored more than 1,400 runs in his second stint with the club.

His batting exploits last summer enabled Endon to finish in third place in Division One to set a solid platform for the 2021 action.

Sellers himself average more than 84 with the bat as he accrued 592 runs in eight innings.

Sellers has carved out a reputation of being the mainstay of Endon’s batting unit.

And if he can carry on his form of the past two years this time around, Endon might not be far away from claiming a place in the Premier Division when the curtain comes down.
