-

OLI Teague produced the performance of the day with all six goals in Cheadle SMU’S 6-5 home victory over Division Four promotion rivals Marquis.

The hosts started well as Zak Povey found Teague who fired home from the edge of the box for 1-0.

Marquis levelled after four minutes through Steve Baker and they took the lead through Ross Robson as he took advantage of some poor defending.

Marquis were awarded a penalty early in the second half for a harsh handball, but keeper Rogerson saved.

Cheadle were caught against the run of play on 65 minutes as Marquis took a 3-1 lead through Baker once more.

Back came the home side and on 67 minutes Teague pulled it back to 3-2 with a fine free-kick from the edge of the box and the game was level at 3-3 with 15 minutes left as Teague finished well to complete his hat-trick.

A long kick by keeper Rogerson released Teague clean through on goal and after he was brought down he converted the penalty to have his side ahead for the first time at 4-3.

With only seven minutes left Marquis rallied and Rob Hemmings fired a shot over the Cheadle keeper for 4-4.

A quickfire double from Teague took the game away from Marquis in the last five minutes giving him 22 goals in 11 games.

Marquis did win a late penalty and although Rogerson again saved the kick he couldn’t prevent John Baker putting away the rebound.

Royal Oak moved to the top of the table after a 10-1 win at Castle Mona.

James Booth and Kane Whiston both claimed hat tricks with Ethan Timmis, Jake Peake and Aiden Emery all on target.

A first win in six games for Park Inn as they enjoyed a 4-1 success at AFC Wolstanton.

Declan Wootton opened the scoring and Adam

Hulme fired home a goal-ofthe-season contender.
