An Italian classic
FIAT recently celebrated the anniversary of the 500, the authentic Italian masterpiece that got the people of Europe moving in the 1950s and still continues to amaze today.
And to mark the occasion, there is a new 500 Dolcevita special edition that sports an exclusive Bossa Nova White livery, enhanced by a red and white beauty line drawn around the entire silhouette.
The look is completed by elegant 16-inch white alloy wheels and fixed glass roof on the hatchback version.
The convertible version of the 500 Dolcevita, for the first time in the history of the model, is fitted with a white-and-blue striped top with embroidered red 500 logo inspired by the deck chairs and beach umbrellas of the Italian Riviera.
The same refined elegance is on
view inside the car with its wooden dashboard and contrasting beauty line. The passenger compartment is the perfect match for the exteriors and is made even more exclusive by new ivory-coloured leather seats with embroidered 500 badge, red piping and a wicker-inspired central panel.
Available in two configurations, hatchback and convertible, the 500 Dolcevita special edition includes the 69hp 1.2-litre engine with manual transmission. It can also be paired with the Dualogic gearbox.
Prices starting from £17,995 for the hatchback version, and £20,995 for the convertible.
It is another addition to the vast Fiat 500 line-up that is made for all shapes and sizes with the more compact, traditionally sized twodoor version right up to the 500L which is billed as a family car. There are convertibles and all the special editions you could possibly wish for.
The anniversary is even more exciting as it coincides with the 120th year of the Fiat brand, a milestone that only a few car manufacturers in the world can boast.
Fiat also has lots of other models to tempt customers into the showrooms.
The four-door Panda has four models in its line-up starting at £10,080 for the entry level car, increasing to £12,380 for the Panda Waze; rising up to £13,380 for the Panda City Cross; then onto £14,980 for the Panda 4x4 and finally it’s £16,580 for the Panda Cross 4x4.
The popular Tipo line up starts from £15,405 for the Tipo Street; the Tipo hatchback is £14,905 and the daddy in the line-up - the Tipo Station Wagon costs £15,905.
Qubo is a highly practical fourdoor option costing from £13,070 and completes the Fiat car line-up.
