Fair view from police eye in sky
A POLICE drone was launched over Loughborough Fair to help keep law and order also managed to also capture some shots of the thrill rides and sideshows in action.
The police drone was operating on Thursday, to keep a check on crowd safety and assist officers on the ground with crime prevention operations. The force called it a “great use of valuable police resources”.
Afterwards, are police commander, Inspector Mark Botte, shared some aerial photographs.
He said: “Thanks to the drone team, a different view of the fair.”
