LORDS (AND LADY) OF THE RING
TOURNAMENT FEATURES FIRST INTER-GENDER CHAMPIONSHIP BOUT
EIGHT wrestlers are set to compete in what is being billed as “Warwickshire and Leicestershire’s biggest ever one-night tournament”.
Four qualifying matches will take place, with the winners of each match advancing into the main event, four-way ladder match.
The winner of this match will receive a contract which will entitle them to a championship match at any time of their choosing.
Fear of Falling will feature county wrestler Jason Joshua.
Other competitors include “The sovereign of safety” Samuel Best, fan favourite White Tiger, “The People’s Captain” Steve Valentino, previous champion Killian Jacobs, Joey “The Hot Shot” Scott, The
Judge and rising star Alex Chambers.
Also on the card will be the county’s first inter-gender championship match where women’s super athlete Dominita will face off against current champion Christopher Drew.
Dominita earned this championship match after defeating 19 other competitors during a royal rumble in December, including wrestlers from Japan and Malta.
Tickets for the event, on February 8 at Hastings High School, St Catherine’s Close, Burbage, are available from £6.99.
Doors open at 5.45pm and the show starts at 6.30pm.
