Floored by Hugh’s admission of smoking the kitchen lino
HUGH GRANT has boasted how he “turned into an animal” during his wild partying days, once smoking kitchen lino mistaking it for drugs.
During a series of US interviews, the father-offive described his wild living as “the lost years” while also admitting he thinks he is “loathed”.
The 59-year-old said: “We went to the Notting Hill Carnival, and we bought the first year a little piece of pot,” he said.
“And we came back and smoked it – and we got very high, and then discovered it was a piece of lino.
“That stuff you put on the floor of the kitchen. It is not bad.”
He also said he thought the UK was “finished” adding the recent election result was a “catastrophe”.
The only thing that’s “finished” is his superior belief he’s any political expert. And he wonders why he’s “loathed”.
