WHICH CELEBRITIES EARNED STYLE POINTS THIS WEEK?

CLASSY, understated, chic... words rarely used to describe the clothes that grace the red carpet at the Grammy awards.

Yes, the American music celebration tends to see guests grab the weird and the wonderful from their closets.

But in among the pink latex cowboy suits, fringing and fraggle frocks, there was a gown or two that wouldn’t scare the horses.

It wouldn’t be the Grammys without at least one oversized gown that won’t fit in a seat and this year that honour went to Ariana Grande. The ponytailed one sailed down the red carpet in an enormous tulle affair from Giambattista Valli Haute Couture. Talk about amazing grey.

At the other end of the spectrum, Dua Lipa continued her Ninetiesthemed dressing in a custom-made Alexander Wang silky two piece that could have come straight from the era. Blue eye shadow was also a recurring theme for the night.

Last but not least, and one of the night’s big winners, is Lizzo. The 31-year-old singer, who opened the show and went on to pick up three gongs, looked Good as Hell in her custommade Atelier Versace white gown and old Hollywoodstyle furry stole.
