Cort comes fifth in the Winter Open

PROFESSIONAL Matthew Cort (Beedles Lake) amassed 40 pts in a Golfing Days Winter Open tournament at Wollaton Park GC. He finished fifth after a tie on this mark.

Pro Kevin Crossland (Worksop) won after a three-way tie on 41 pts, from another pro Adam Woolley (The Nottinghamshire) and top amateur Liam Gales (Mickleover).
