999 call cop car crashes
A POLICE car crashed into a tree while responding to a 999 call.
Two officers were driving along Fleckney Road, in Wistow, at about 12.45pm last Friday when their vehicle left the road.
The fire sevice was called and said one person had been treated for minor injuries.
A police spokesman said: “Shortly before 12.45pm, a car being driven by officers responding to an incident collided with a tree in Fleckney Road, Wistow.
“Two officers were in the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved.
“No serious injuries have been reported.”
