QUARTER-FINAL IS SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 28

- By RICHARD CUSACK AND JAMIE KEMBLE

LEICESTER City are back in action later this month and it has just got much more real.

The Premier League has confirmed details of the first three City matches back after the break enforced by the coronavirus pandemic.

City haven’t played a match since the 4-0 home win over Aston Villa on March 9 – the last game seen in the top flight.

Now they’re gearing up for a return as they aim to secure their place in next season’s edition of the Champions League.

Premier League bosses have rubber-stamped dates, times and broadcast details of City’s next three games, with the fixture list mirroring how the campaign should have ended.

Hot on the heels of the Premier League, the FA have confirmed the date, time and TV details for the FA Cup quarterfinals.

Leicester City host Chelsea in the last eight of the competition which was originally scheduled for March. It will kick off at 4pm at the King Power Stadium on Sunday, June 28 - eight days after City return with their match against Watford - and it will be live on BT Sport.

The clash is the third one of the weekend, with Norwich City v Manchester United, Sheffield United v Arsenal and Newcastle United v Manchester City the other three Cup quarter-finals.

In February, Chelsea drew 2-2 at the King King Power Stadium, with an Antonio Rudiger brace earning the visitors a point.
