Bat attack reported

TWO men were reportedly threatened with a baseball bat in an incident at the weekend.

Police said they received a report of the incident, in Leicester Road, Oadby, at 3.50pm on Sunday from a third-party.

Neither of the two victims has come forward.

It was reported a man got out of his car and was holding the bat.

He then threatened the men, according to police.

A spokesman for the force said: “Are you one of the two men believed to have been threatened?

“Did you see what happened?” Anyone with information is asked to call the non-emergency number 101 or direct message the police on Twitter.
