In search of county’s lost cricket clubs

I’VE been involved in local cricket since 1969 and have witnessed the gradual decline of the sport at local level.

Great clubs, grounds and characters have been lost to history. I would very much like to try and track down and record those lost clubs and grounds in Leicestershire and Rutland since 1900.

To help me I would be delighted to receive information about defunct clubs including location of ground, a potted history and notable players and characters.
