Champions are off to a great start

COSBY GC, the defending Leicestershire and Rutland county golf union Scratch League champions, made a winning start to this season’s delayed programme when the inter-club clashes got under way after lockdown restrictions were eased.

They won 5.5-0.5 away against The Leicestershire.

The other division one match between Glen Gorse and Hinckley was postponed.

In other league matches, Whetstone drew 3-3 with Rothley Park, Kibworth were 4-2 winners against Lutterworth, Ullesthorpe Court won 6-0 at home against Scraptoft, and Lingdale were 5-1 winners against Beedles Lake.
