-

TONY Jarvis plans to spend his retirement enjoying the Norfolk coast with his wife, Mary, and will continue to be visible around the city as a member of The Leicestershire Golf Club, The Leicestershire Tennis and Squash Club, and the Rotary Club of Leicester.

Rowleys managing director Robert Radford said he had been a pleasure to work with.

He said: “His contribution within has been immense and having worked at Rowleys throughout his life he is a very well-known and respected figure in Leicestershire.

“Tony will always say things as they are and clients have valued his very direct approach.

“As a business we have also benefited from his strong leadership and business acumen.

“He has led the growth of the firm to where it is now, as well as finding time to serve on several local and national charity, sporting boards and committees.

“I shall be sorry to see him go but he deserves to have more time to play golf and tennis.”
