Clowning around at fields of screams

-

CATTOWS Farm will be the location for what is described as “the UK’s most terrifying Hallowe’en scare maze experience”.

Those who are feeling daring will be able to visit one of two scare mazes at the farm in Heather, near Ashby and Coalville.

Returning for a second year is the Field of Screams (Xtreme Edition) and new for this year is Pennywise’s Clown Carnevil Terror Maze. Both are aimed at those aged 15 and above.

Field of Screams is described as extremely scary and gruesome, and not for the faint-hearted.

Those who enter the Clown Carnevil Terror Maze should be prepared to scream.

For those wanting a less scary Hallowe’en experience they can enjoy as a family, there will also be a Creepy Trick or Treat Maze Trail. Magical pumpkins will be scattered across Cattows Farm and you can help to find them.

Just watch out for the creepy crawlies left behind by the Wicked Witch of the West!

Seek and collect as many pumpkins as you can, then take them to the Master Wizard who will reward you with a prize.

The three activities will be taking place as part of Hallowe’en World, which will also feature food stalls, an outdoor bar and carnival games.

Halloween World will be open from October 17 until November 1.

The Creepy Trick or Treat Maze Trail will be open daily from 10am until 5pm from October 17 and will be available to all ages.

Field of Screams Xtreme Edition and Pennywise’s Clown Carnevil Terror Maze will both open from October 22 and run Thursday to Sunday from 6pm to 10pm. Both are rated 15+ advisory.

All areas are outdoor and Covidsecure. Wellies and waterproofs are advised and face coverings must be worn when entering all attractions on site.

Social distancing will be in place across the site.

Tickets are on sale now.
