Clothing store opens at Fosse Park
Clothing brand Regatta has opened a branch at Fosse Park.
the company took over a unit formerly occupied by Carphone Warehouse.
Regatta sells a selection of outdoor clothing for men and women, plus accessories including rucksacks, water bottles and explorer belts.
it also has a range of products for canine companions, including squeaky toys and dog coats.
there is currently a small selection of childrenswear, with further products arriving soon.
Regatta was launched in 1981, with the aim of providing products people could afford to encourage them outside.
Carphone Warehouse at Fosse Park closed earlier this year, after owner Dixons Carphone closed all 531 of its standalone stores.
instead, the company is focusing on selling mobile devices and connectivity through its shop-in-shops in 305 big Currys PCWorld stores, and online.
