Could you help heal hearts of devoted doggy duo?
‘TERRIFIC TWOSOME’ LOOKING FOR NEW HOME AFTER OWNER DIED
TWO dogs who are devoted to each other are looking for a new home after their owner died.
JJ and Bipper, who are both eightyear-old Rhodesian Ridgeback crossbreeds, have been brought up together, and where one goes, the other follows.
The Dogs Trust Loughborough is appealing for someone who can take both canines on together.
“JJ and Bipper came to us after their owner sadly passed away last month,” said centre manager Celine Di Crocco.
“They were obviously much-loved dogs and they are the best of friends.
“They are a really terrific twosome and we’re hoping it won’t be too long before some big-hearted dog lovers fall in love, twice over.”
She said Bipper is a bouncy boy whereas JJ is the more sensitive of the two and although he loves playing with Bipper, he is not keen on other canine companions.
The team is hoping the dogs’ new home will have a secure garden where they can play to their hearts’ content, with quiet walks close by when it is time to head out on an adventure.
“JJ and Bipper love each other’s company but would prefer not to share their new home with any other pets,” said Celine.
“They really love people and they would be happy to live with children aged 15 and over. JJ does sometimes like to chill out on his own, so his family will need to give him space when he wants it. “However, they would both really benefit from having their two-legged friends around most of the day, particularly while they settle in. “Welcoming a dog into your life is a huge commitment, but we are really hoping that there is a family of dog lovers out there who are ready to welcome two canine companions into their home.
“If you double the dogs, you double the fun and lifelong love.”
