Farmers host drive-in harvest festival

MEMBERS of Leicestershire Federation of Young Farmers Clubs are to host their first ever Drive-in Harvest Festival.

The event, at Melton Market, will be an opportunity for members, who will remain in their cars to give thanks for the harvest.

Starting at 7.30pm on October 27, a combine harvester, flanked by two tractors, will serve as the altar.

There will be a collection of produce which will be taken to the food bank, Storehouse.
