They all go into an area of nearby flats and three minutes later they split up.

The prosecution alleges they are now looking for Mr Jibreel. 2.36pm: Botan and three others are in Oak Street, going into Humberstone Road, walking towards the city, as Sidibe and Mohammed also walk towards Humberstone Road, but via Pembroke Walk and along Pembroke Street.

As Botan’s group are crossing Brunswick Street and walking around the corner into Crafton Street East, Mr Jibreel and his associate are going down Brunswick Street – and the prosecution claims they might have have been seen by Botan, because his group turned around. They have a chat before all going, as one group, into Malabar Street towards Everest Court.

Botan later told the police Mr Jibreel wanted some cannabis from one of his group at that point.
