BALLARD’S SENTENCE

BALLARD, who was described by the judge as being “honest but not equal to the task” was given a £1,600 fine and ordered to pay £7,864 in costs.

Olivia Beesley, representing Ballard, pictured, said: “He was simply out of his depth. It was beyond the training he had.

“He knows he’s let down his profession by these offences.”
