Drugs equipment is dumped

CANNABIS-GROWING equipment and unwanted sections of the plants have been dumped in a lane.

The plants and equipment were left along with a pile of household waste, pictured, in Covert Lane, Scraptoft.

Council officials have been sifting through the debris for any information which could lead to the identification of the fly-tippers.

A member of the public reported the fly-tip on October 29 using Harborough District Council’s online tip-off e-mail address.

Council workers have since removed the rubbish and are appealing for help in tracking down the culprits.
