Sad to hear of death of man who saved my life
I WAS saddened to learn of the passing of Professor Anthony Gershlick (“Tony pushed boundaries of clinical care to make a difference for patients all around the world”, Mercury, November 23)
Ten years ago I was referred to the Glenfield Hospital, having suffered a heart attack.
I was fortunate enough to be placed under the care of Prof Gershlick, who performed a coronary angioplasty which saved my life.
I will never forget his professional, caring and kind manner. He was a man among men.
My condolences to his family, and thank you Professor.
