Big diversion

DRIVERS will face an eight-mile diversion, due to the closure of a main road that is 300 yards long.

Main Street, Heather, is due to be closed for four days next week due to road works taking place.

Leicestershire County Council has announced the closure due to carriageway patching works.

It is due to begin on January 26 and works are scheduled to take place between 9.15am and 2.30pm each day.
