Car pulled over due to concern about girl

A DRIVER was stopped following concerns about a suspected unconscious girl spotted in the passenger seat.

The man was also reported to have been “approaching other girls” last night, according to police.

Officers from Charnwood and the Roads Policing Unit spotted and stopped the driver.

Police said the female passenger was drunk, but safe.

A man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and driving without insurance.

In response to the Tweet shared by the roads policing team regarding the incident, one person praised the public for the “good spot”.
