Missing boy may have left county
A TEENAGE boy who was reported missing at the weekend is believed to have travelled to Cambridgeshire, where searches continue.
Armani Mitchell, 16, pictured, was last seen on Saturday morning in the area of Central Avenue, Leicester.
Cambridgeshire Constabulary is now leading a search for the teenager after it emerged that he may have travelled to the their county – more than 70 miles from Leicester.
Inquiries into Armani’s whereabouts in the area are ongoing as Leicestershire Police continue to appeal for public assistance to help locate him.
In a statement, the force said, “officers are extremely concerned for his welfare”.
The teenager is described as 6ft 2in, of slim build with short dark hair.
He was last seen wearing a darkcoloured Parka coat with fur around the hood.
The police appeal has also been shared across social media as the search continues.
