Lady Pamela Hicks has known the Queen all her life. As the daughter of Lord Louis Mountbatten, cousin to Prince Philip and second cousin to the Queen, they were childhood friends and she was even her bridesmaid.

As her lady in waiting, Pamela travelled the world with her and was by her side through her happiest times and darkest hours.

In this wonderfully affectionate documentary, Lady Pamela talks to her daughter India, pictured with her, who was also a bridesmaid for Charles and Diana, pulling out old photos and diaries and watching old footage together.
