ASK DIARMUID
QLast year we laid a new patio of ceramic tiles. Before the season starts, we’d like to clean it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Plants are near by, so we have to take them into consideration. Muddy paws have also done their damage and some green algae has appeared.

Sweep off any debris, such as leaves and stones, and then use a power hose – this will blast off any remaining dirt or algae, and the run-off won’t harm any plants. It’s a messy job, so prepare to get wet, but one I really enjoy!
