Fears for man who has been missing for week

OFFICERS are appealing to the public for help in tracing a missing Leicester man who hasn’t been seen since last weekend.

Concern is growing for the welfare of Hoang Hai Nguyen, pictured, and police are asking anyone who knows of his whereabouts to get in touch.

He was reported missing from the Eyres Monsell area of Leicester last Sunday morning.

A spokesperson for the force said: “He has not been seen since and officers are extremely concerned for his safety and welfare.”

Hoang is described as being around 5ft 4in, of medium build and with short hair and brown eyes.

“He was last seen wearing a navy blue Parka coat with fur around the hood, light blue jeans, a darkcoloured baseball cap and Nike trainers,” said the spokesperson.

He added that Hoang is Vietnamese and does not speak English.

Anyone who has seen him, or knows where he is, is urged to contact officers using the police 101 number.
