Bike pair in tractor accident

TWO motorcycli­sts were taken to hospital yesterday after they were involved in a crash with a tractor.

The crash happened just before 10am, on Six Hills Road, at Ragdale.

Both bikers, who were on separate motorcycle­s, were taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre, in Nottingham, by East Midlands Ambulance Service.

Police have said that their injuries are not life-threatenin­g nor life-changing.

The air ambulance also attended the scene.

The driver of the tractor was not injured.

Police closed the road for a while to allow them to deal with the incident.
