The foxes about to lay a trail around Fosse Park

- By BECKY JONES rebeccajones@leicestermercury.co.uk @JournoBecky

LIFE-SIZE fox sculptures will soon be dotted around Fosse Park and tourist attractions in the local area, as the shopping park celebrates the launch of the Fosse Park West and Food Central developments.

The Fosse Foxes trail will launch next Monday - the same day that the new areas of the shopping park will officially open.

Shoppers will be able to follow the foxes to see artworks by local artists, designers, community groups and tourist attractions brought to life in vibrant colours.

You can download the trail map via the Fosse Park website to help you find all 25 of the foxes, and each fox has a unique QR code which will scan with most smartphones to find out more about the design.

Launching last year as a design competition, Fosse Park received more than 100 entries, which were narrowed down to 10 winners.

These joined the 15 designs submitted by clubs, organisations and community groups, such as Leicester City FC and Action Homeless.
