TV star Ashley Cain has been left devastated as doctors said his daughter’s cancer could spread to her brain.

Medics discovered seven-monthold Azaylia will require another form of chemotherapy to prevent the leukaemia from reaching other organs.

The former Leicestershire footballer took to social media to update his fans on the heartbreaking news and told them that doctors are doing everything they can.

Support and donations have poured in from countless celebrities in an effort to get Azaylia the treatment she desperately needs.

The Ex On The Beach star, 30, who took part in the show while on the books of Barwell FC, said on social media: “This now means that Azaylia will now have to have another form of chemotherapy intrathecally, through the spinal tap to attack the leukaemia and protect her brain.

“This means she will be having a CT scan on her head to make sure we can go through with this intrathecal procedure tomorrow,” The Mirror reported.

Ashley said: “With three hours sleep in two days, the reality is that there are no days off on this journey, no time out periods and no single second without worry or fear.

“If you asked me a year ago, I would’ve never imagined how strong I could or would have to be.

“That being said, you never really know how strong you are, until being strong is your only option.”

It comes as generous celebrities including Molly-Mae Hague, Kate Ferdinand, and former Hinckley United footballer Andre Gray, and their loyal fans alike donated more than £1 million to pay for Azaylia to undergo specialist treatment in Singapore.

The reality star and his girlfriend, Safiyya Vorajee, plan to make the trip to Singapore for their daughter’s treatment for a rare and aggressive form of cancer known as acute myeloid leukaemia.

Reflecting on the day in the UK ahead of their trip, mum Safiyya said her daughter was in “a lot of pain” after a “tough” time at the hospital.

She wrote: “What a tough day she’s had, bless her.

“She’s been in a lot of pain today.”
