Lies over mask-wearing insult to truly exempt
JUST over a week ago, I was entering my local supermarket and a young woman, probably in her 20s, was in front of me.
The security guard asked her where her mask was and she told him she was exempt because she’d had a tracheotomy.
Yesterday, I was at my GP practice seeing a nurse.
Sitting in the waiting area was the same young woman, wearing a mask. There was a man waiting, too, not wearing a mask, as he had had a tracheotomy done.
So if this woman can wear a mask at the doctors, she can wear one at a supermarket and other retail.
It’s an insult to supermarket workers and customers who are genuinely exempt.
